1.I live in Southeast Asia! You’ll find me chilling in the tropical forests of Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Borneo. I love warm, steamy jungles!
2. I might be a bear, but I’m the smallest one in the world! I’m only about 4 to 5 feet long, and I weigh as much as a big dog. Tiny but mighty!
3. Check out my chest! That golden patch of fur is shaped like a sun,that’s how I got my name, “Sun Bear!” Cool, huh?
4. You know what I love? Honey! I’ll climb high and use my super long tongue, up to 10 inches to slurp honey right out of beehives. That’s why some people call me the honey bear.
5. I’m an omnivore, which means I eat lots of stuff… insects, fruit, honey, small animals, and sometimes even bird eggs. Mmm… jungle snacks!
6.I’m a tree-climbing champ! My strong claws help me climb trees like a pro. Sometimes I nap up there too, the best view in the forest!
7. I’m mostly nocturnal, sleep during the day, and explore at night. Gotta avoid the heat and stay cool!
8. My front paws are like jungle tools. They’re strong and perfect for ripping open tree bark or digging into the dirt to find juicy bugs.
9. Did I mention my tongue? Yep, it’s over 10 inches long! That’s longer than your school ruler. Great for slurping honey and bugs hiding in deep spots!
